Pool Session - Shepherdstown

Our event will be offered to community members who wish to learn about basic kayak safety including how to safely exit an upside down boat and the basics of how to execute a roll to return the boat to upright position without exiting. Other safety topics will be offered including discussion of basic gear, safety equipment, and cold weather paddling safety.

All boats and personal equipment (pfd’s, paddles, etc.) entering the pool area will be CAREFULLY and THORUOGHLY inspected by me and must be completely free of dirt and debris (i.e., “squeaky clean”) to be allowed in the pool.
